Whimsy spring vibes only 🌸 Creating a whimsical aesthetic can be so stunning! Whimsy is not your average design style. It is an out-of-the box style that can be achieved by being strategic, but not overly particular. It can be quaint and charming with a playful quality that makes a delightful aesthetic. When creating a whimsy look think colors that make you happy. You can mix and match colors, styles, and patterns. At the core of whimsical is: lightheartedness and fancy.

This entire vision was birthed with the pink chinoiserie board in mind. It is a traditional divider that has been painted a dusty pale pink. When looking at it; we envisioned a whimsical + airy feel with wild florals, elements of pinks, and lots of fun. All of the creative vendors involved made the whole look come to life.

Creekside Flower Farm did a beautiful job by adding greenery to the chandelier and being strategic with the floral arrangements to bring an indoor garden feel to the design. The multi-colored pastel linens from White Table tied all of it together by adding such a fun element. We chose mismatched China and gold flatware to keep the fancy feel. The pink compotes with fruit and pink goblets melted perfectly with the pink cocktails to create a young, fresh spring vibe. Reignbow Baking Co incorporated local farm flowers to adorn her cake to keep the whimsical mood. The larger than life look with the veil and tulle skirt overlay from OZ Bridal added a free and fun element, while the strapless floral dress complimented the vision with a whimsical princess look. Macy did an incredible job creating a “clean girl glow” while Emilee styled a loose half-up style on our beautiful model, Emmy. The Woodlands was the perfect space to feel liberty to create exactly what we imagined in a blank, but still stunning, canvas. One of the best photographers, Alexis May, captured the whole day and helped us communicate the original look with the free, airy, whimsical mood you feel from the photos.
