Prepare to feast your eyes on some incredible boho wedding inspiration! Lauren + Caleb’s wedding was simply breathtaking - from the pampas grass details, to Lauren’s bell-sleeved wedding gown, to her jaw-dropping bouquet (created by Melissa Timm Designs), it was full to the brim of unique details that made their wedding a reflection of them as a couple.
In a world where we are flooded with inspiration from every corner, it is all too easy for brides to get caught up in wanting to do every great idea and trend, rather than focusing in on the things that are truly important to them and reflect their personal style. One of the things we loved about working with Lauren is that she knew her style, had a vision, and stayed focused on the things that would bring that vision to life. And it shows in the final wedding design!
Lauren + Caleb chose The Forwards Photography to capture their wedding day, which all unfolded at the beautiful Hiwassee River Weddings venue. As you’re scrolling through these amazing photos, enjoy the story of their relationship as told by Lauren herself! And don’t miss their gorgeous wedding video by Evergreen Film Co at the end of the post.
P.S. Keep your eyes opened for our #copperquaints sprinkled throughout! Scroll to the bottom to find out which pieces from our inventory Lauren + Caleb featured in their wedding decor. Enjoy!
“Caleb and I met through mutual friends our sophomore year of college. We talked on and off for a couple months then one night he asked me to grab dinner. The rest is history. From then on we were inseparable. We practically did everything together. People say opposites attract but this isn’t the case for us. We are very similar people with so many things in common - We believe that’s why we hit it off. Caleb and I simply enjoy being together. Caleb says he loves my kind heart and compassion. I loves his thoughtfulness and strong-minded attitude.”
“Caleb planned a very thought out proposal. First we grabbed dinner at one of our favorite restaurants. He played it cool and I wasn’t suspecting a thing. After dinner he told me we were going to a hayride - it was the end of October so it didn’t seem too unusual. When we arrived at the location there didn’t seem to be a hayride going on. He actually had taken me to a beautiful Bed and Breakfast that’s right outside of my hometown. He walked me up to an area overlooking the lake and popped the question! Afterwards, Caleb had planned a party with both of our families and friends to celebrate. It was a perfect night.”
“Caleb and I wanted our wedding to reflect our relaxed and laid back style. We wanted simple and nothing over the top. We loved the natural beauty of the venue (Hiwassee River Weddings) and didn’t want to take away from it. The wedding was a perfect representation of our style!”
“We loved so many things from our wedding - but if we had to pick one it would be our first look. It allows you to take in the day together and share an intimate moment before the ceremony.”
“The biggest advice I can give is don’t stress. Relax and take in every moment. Don’t spend it stressing over the tiny details. At the end of the day you’ll be married and that’s all that matters.”
